Well, it snowed today for the first time since this fall/winter. I wish I was still a little kid because I would have totally been outside all night making snow men and having snowball fights.
But then I guess that I would have just looked like a lonely kid having a snowball fight with himself. That would be kind of sad.

I can't believe I haven't come across this before today...
It appears that I was credited on the venerable snpp.com a few years ago when I provided a rather elementary definition of an Oedipus Complex to the alt.tv.simpsons newsgroup. I was a lowly undergraduate at the time, and was acting as both a psychology and Simpsons dork. And no, I was not advocating Freud's theories.
So yeah, I'm buried in here somewhere: Tim Dowling defines "Oedipus Complex" for Simpsons fans worldwide.
Why I was briefly excited about this, I really have no good explanation.
I'm not usually one to be pessimistic about things, but I'm not feeling too hot about this election thing right now. Dare I say that I'm losing faith in the judgment of my fellow citizens?
