Research

I almost forgot to mention: I believe that I finally have a dissertation topic picked and ready to go. Of course, this is like my fourth dissertation topic as a result of me not being able to get focused on one particular thing, but as I'm quickly running out of time to actually do a dissertation before I finish classes, it's pretty likely that I'll be sticking with this one.

I kind of wish that I would have been able to stick with my apprenticeship research project as my dissertation, but unfortunately that would only happen if I attended a school that had money and resources (UIUC, if you're listening...care to help a poor alumnus out?). Damn my uppity academic desires.
