There was a fantastic interaction tonight between John Stewart and Bernard Goldberg on The Daily Show. I think it's so wonderful that conservatives have the guts to go on such an openly liberal (and, thankfully, intelligent) show to duke it out with Stewart. And while things often get pretty tense on occasion, Stewart can always find some sort of common ground and end the interview on a positive note. But really, he kind of has to do that, or else he risks becoming the exact person that he lampoons on regular basis. It's a joy to watch a smart "keepin' it real" guy do his thing like this.

It's interesting to hear about this. I remember kids doing this choking game thing during my first year of high school back in '93. One kid would sit down while another would place his hands on either side of the kid's neck and start pushing forward. Struck me as kind of stupid. I've actually never encountered any mention of it since then. I find it strange, though, that if the "game" is common knowledge and if kids have supposedly been doing it for a long time, that parents and school personnel are completely oblivious to its existence. Hmph.
